Senior Project Manager
noisy is an independent culture agency connecting brands to the moments that matter. We work at the intersection of live music, nightlife, and brand partnerships, helping brands become genuinely cool through activations, events, and campaigns that actually cut through.
We represent and operate some of Australia's most exciting cultural platforms: Lines (Bondi Lines, Melbourne Lines), a real-time nightlife guide; Mixmag ANZ, the Australian and New Zealand arm of the world's biggest dance music brand; WhatsLively, a music discovery platform powered by streaming data; and Maple Social Club, a free-entry community events series bringing people together across Australian cities.
We don't put brands around culture. We put them inside it.
What you'll be doing
You'll own delivery across our client campaigns and platform activations, keeping projects moving, partners aligned, and nothing slipping. This is a senior role, so you'll be trusted to make the call when things need to move, not wait to be told. You'll work across our content, client and leadership teams, and in a team this lean, you'll roll your sleeves up and do the work alongside everyone else.
Campaign and Project Management
- Manage end-to-end delivery of client and internal campaigns
- Build and oversee project timelines, budgets, workback schedules, and P&Ls
- Run WIP meetings, keeping internal and external teams aligned across multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Manage publishers, suppliers, freelancers, and third-party partners from briefing through to delivery
- Take direction from noisy leadership and turn it into clear plans the whole team can run with
- Chase deliverables early, spot problems before they land, and solve blockers on the fly
- Keep stakeholders on deadline through good relationships and early conversations, not last-minute escalations
- Build lightweight processes that fit how the team actually works, and adapt them as the agency grows and priorities shift
- Create and document ways of working, from setting up software and tools to introducing ideas that help us work better. You'll lead in this area and the team will turn to you for it
- Work alongside more junior members of the project team, providing leadership, direction, and support as they deliver
Events and Activations
- Build and own the project plans that sit behind our client events and activations, and the occasional noisy-owned event, from timelines and workback schedules to promo deadlines
- Act as the client lead on event work, keeping them briefed, aligned, and confident throughout
- Partner with our event producers, who lead on-the-ground delivery, feeding them clear plans and keeping the client and the production running in step
- Coordinate ticketing announcements, promotional rollouts, and content coverage against the plan
Campaign Reporting and Account Support
- Track KPIs and ROI across digital, social, and event touchpoints
- Prepare post-campaign reports with data, insights, and recommendations
- Manage campaign budgets, approvals, and invoicing processes
- Support new business pitches with case studies, decks, and reporting examples
- Stay across cultural trends, music, nightlife, and events to inform campaign creative
What we're looking for
- 8-10+ years' agency experience across campaign, project or account management, within media, events, creative or cultural marketing environments
- Solid event experience. Our event producers lead delivery, but you'll partner with them on planning, timelines and client management, so you need to know how events come together
- A strong track record delivering media campaigns across digital, social and partnerships, from briefing through to post-campaign reporting
- Deep stakeholder management experience. You've managed clients, publishers, suppliers and internal teams at once, and you know how to keep all of them onside
- A self starter. You spot what needs doing and get on with it without waiting to be asked
- A natural problem solver. Plans change, events move, clients shift the brief. You adjust on the fly and find the fix without drama
- Hands-on. No task is beneath you, whether that's rebuilding a client deck the night before a pitch or jumping on a supplier call yourself to unblock a delivery
- A team player who works easily with everyone, from junior creatives to senior leadership, and adjusts your approach to suit who's in the room
- Low ego. You're here to make everyone's job easier. Process exists to serve the work, not the other way around, and when leadership calls a change of direction, you get behind it and make it happen
- Organised without being rigid. You keep projects tight, hold deadlines, and know when to flex
- High attention to detail. You catch the errors in a budget, deck or deliverable before the client ever sees them
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. You write clearly, run tight meetings, and follow up without being asked
- Comfortable producing and managing budgets and P&Ls at a campaign level
- Strong time management and the ability to juggle competing priorities without losing composure
- Comfortable working autonomously in a lean, fast-moving team where you'll need to use your initiative
- Based in Australia (we operate across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane)
- Proficient with Claude. You know how to use AI tools to work smarter, not just faster
What you can expect from us
- Work that sits at the centre of Australian music and nightlife culture
- A small, ambitious team that moves fast and backs good ideas
- Genuine variety, no two weeks look the same
- Flexibility in how and where you work
- Real ownership from day one, working directly with the founders on campaigns that matter
Why noisy
We're independent, culturally embedded, and growing across Australia and into the UK. You'll be helping deliver campaigns across live music, nightlife, brand partnerships, and original event properties that people genuinely care about.
If that sounds like your kind of work, we'd love to hear from you. If you don't tick every box but are passionate and adaptable, get in touch anyway.
